No data collection

DatePrism is a free application, with no ads and no trackers. It does not include any audience analytics tool, any advertising network, and does not transmit any personal data to third parties.

Local processing of calculations

All dates entered and all calculations performed by DatePrism (Gregorian calendar, Masonic calendars, gaps, offsets) remain strictly local to your device. No date and no calculation result is ever sent to a remote server.

Locally stored preferences

Your preferences (language, date format, default starting date, display mode) are stored only on your device, in the application's local storage. They are never shared.

Clipboard

The "Copy" function uses your operating system's clipboard (Windows or Android) only when you explicitly activate it. DatePrism never accesses the clipboard's contents at any other time.

Donations via PayPal

If you choose to support DatePrism's development via a PayPal donation, the transaction is entirely processed by PayPal according to its own privacy policy. DatePrism does not receive or store any banking or personal information related to these donations.

Suggestions area

To publish on the website's Suggestions area (rognie.com/dateprism/suggestions), an e-mail address is required and must be verified via an automatically sent confirmation link (valid for 10 minutes). This address is never shown publicly: only the nickname you choose appears next to your messages.

Once your address is verified, it remains valid for your future submissions — you don't need to verify it again for each message. The site's publisher may however revoke an address (for example in case of abuse), which would require you to verify it again to publish.

A technical, non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address is also temporarily kept, solely to limit abusive submissions (anti-spam). It is never displayed publicly or shared with third parties.

So it can be shown to you in your own language, a message published in another language is automatically translated when displayed, using a third-party service (MyMemory): only the message text itself is sent to it, never your e-mail address or nickname. This translation is not stored permanently.

A message is only visible to other visitors after manual approval. You can request the deletion of your e-mail address and your messages by writing to dateprism@rognie.com.
